Manchester based DJ Bizzy B has a passion for Soul music in all its genres. Bizzy started his musical journey in the 80s as a presenter and later manager of Frontline Radio Soul (a pirate radio station based in Manchester). A natural progression to djing took place and Bizzy became an established and respected DJ on the Manchester Black Music scene.
Bizzy brings a variety of musical influences into his sets and is comfortable playing Modern or Classic Soul.
Bizzy has played regularly across the UK soul scene, at nights such as such as Soul Boutique, Soul Society, Soul Central and Oldskool Throwback.
Bizzy is resident DJ/promoter for Oldskool Throwback (OST), an 80’s/90’s Soul and reggae night which has been established since 2011.
He is also a resident DJ/ joint promoter of Soul Central a Manchester-based Modern Soul night since 2014
Bizzy has deejayed with some of the biggest names on the Soul/RnB scene, including Tim Westwood, Trevor Nelson and Steve Sutherland, Bigger and Jigs.
Bizzy presented a Sunday morning breakfast show on Manchester based, Unity Radio 92.8FM (The Weekend Wake Up) for 5 years, 9am-11am, where he played Modern / Neo and Classic Soul. In October 2015 he moved to internet station The New Sunset Radio, Sunday 8pm-11pm and currently presents a show on Legacy 90.1 FM (Wednesday 7pm-9pm), playing New and Classic Soul and RnB.
